If 2007 was to have a theme or a name, it would be the year that you get to claim you, the you that you were born to be and that might mean that you've got to face some challenges as you get back on track.
You begin the year with Jupiter, Mars and Pluto in opposition and while Jupiter will move on later in January, Jupiter and Pluto will continue to hold this position until the end of the year. They may be opposing you, but this is the planet of luck we're talking about, so any challenges you face this year, will be a cosmic form of tough love, putting you back on the authentic path you should be on.
This is also a major relationship year for you and already there will be a strong sense of fate at work in your chart. With so many planets congregated here in December, you would have found it impossible to keep anything false or deny your real needs and feelings.
That intensity will ease in the first few months of the year, but only to a small degree and when the correct level of pressure and intensity is found, it's going to stay that way, until the end of the year. This is going to make it impossible to stay with the wrong one or be parted from the right one.
Astrologically, this predicts a year when you're likely to get married, become committed or to find your soul mate, for this is the marriage year. Jupiter, planet of luck, works on the principle of expansion and to start with, he'll expand what's there, good or bad. At first this might seem as though things are going pear shaped or wrong, but trust that the planet of luck is steering you in the right direction.
This is more than just about finding the right relationship, it's about finding the right life path and sense of direction for you, or more importantly, your authentic self.
Mercury, your ruling planet, is making September and October special months for love and romance, though you're likely to get more than your fair share before then. By this stage Jupiter will be getting ready to leave your relationship sector in December, so September and October are likely to be months when you're making a commitment or things are coming to fruition. This also marks a time when Mars is focusing on your chart and denying your own needs will be all but impossible.
Communication is the theme that will run through your chart right up until then, with a shift towards a romantic focus coinciding with a shift towards setting up home, property investment and focusing on your lifestyle. While this won't kick in properly until September, a series of eclipses throughout the year and Venus' extended stay here in July and August, will give you the road sides you need during the year, to point you in the right direction.
While 2007 will keep you on your toes and prove to be a major watershed year for you, it is your relationships that are the real winners this year.
